Poetry has always been a mystery to me. Never really understanding the purpose or the point.
The lyrical words that send the senses into overdrive. The words that evoke a picture in the mind joins with the song that can be heard through the ears.
Sharon Olds gives so much of herself through her work, I feel privileged to look through the window into her soul.
Breathtakingly beautiful, so much more than words.....
